The Founders Selection

We produce coffee to compete on the world stage. Each harvest, select lots are chosen for global competitions and auctions, coffees defined by precision, rarity, and performance.

The Founder’s Selection offers private access to some of the most exceptional coffees produced on our farms. Many of these lots are typically secured by visiting competitors or reserved for auction before ever reaching the public.

Through registration, our community receives early notification when a new Founder’s Selection coffee becomes available. Each release is extremely limited and offered within a short ordering window.

When it’s gone, it’s gone.

What happens

1. We discover something exceptional - At the farm, standout lots are identified and set aside for here only.

2. We announce the release - Registered members receive a private notification with full details and allocation size.

3. Ordering opens for 4 days - Access is limited to a four-day window. Once closed, ordering ends.

4. After the window closes - The green coffee is prepared at origin, shipped to Oregon, and roasted in small, precise batches before being sent worldwide. Roast timing depends on arrival from Colombia.

Everything you need to know about The Founders Club
  • The Founders Selection is our private release channel. Each month, we offer access to a limited coffee selected at origin and roasted in small batches in Portland. Access is granted through private registration.
  • No. An email is required to receive Reserve access notifications. Providing your phone number is optional. Members who choose to opt in to SMS may receive earlier notifications or release reminders, but it is not required to participate in Mikava Reserve.
  • The club is free to join, pay for the coffee whenever you want it through a unique url only available to our members.
  • Each release has a fixed allocation. Once that allocation is secured, the release is closed. We believe in transparency and will share lot size and Reserve allocation details with each drop.
  • Reserve coffees are released based on harvest cycles and selection standards. Typically, this means one release per month, though timing may vary depending on availability and quality.
  • No this is not a subscription. There are no recurring charges and no obligation to purchase. Registration simply gives you access to private releases. You decide whether or not to secure each release.
  • All releases are roasted at once in our Portland, Oregon, roastery and shipped worldwide.
  • Enter your email in the form on this page, and you will be entered into The Founders Selection. You’ll receive a confirmation email to verify your registration. Once confirmed, you’ll receive private access notifications for future Reserve releases. You can also sign up by joining our Instagram broadcast channel.
  • All orders ship from our Oregon roastery. We offer complimentary shipping within the continental United States. Flat-rate international shipping is available to select countries. Shipping timelines depend on the coffee’s arrival from Colombia and the scheduled roast date. Once roasted, orders are dispatched promptly, and tracking details are provided.
